Contracts Boost For MTC Insulation Solutions

MTC Insulation Solutions is looking forward to showcasing its expertise in food factory design and build at the PPMA show after a busy few months which has seen orders bolstered by £3.8m.

The food production contractor will be at stand B11 from September 29 – October 01 and welcomes visitors to discuss their projects and gain advice on factory design and refurbishment.

MTC Insulation Solutions has recently secured impressive contracts from new clients for the following projects:

• An airline meals assembly unit for British Airways at Heathrow airport, including plant rooms and external cladding
• A changing room for Greggs bakery in London
• An extension to a chicken factory in Norfolk for A D & T Harvey
• A food factory for Cambrian Pet Foods in South Wales
• Remedial works to a ceiling and a division wall to a bakery for Mapleleaf
• A £2.4m meat plant.

Three major projects recently completed include a chill store for Extons Foods in Manchester, a cookhouse refurbishment for Peters Foods in Cardiff and work for Laverstoke Park, an award winning organic farm in Hampshire.

Geoff Daren, Commercial Director for MTC Insulation Solutions says; “The construction industry faced a tough time last year but there is definitely more confidence in the sector and we have seen a significant rise in enquires which is very good news.”

The company, which celebrated 17 years in business in February, believes it has weathered the recession by looking after customers and remaining competitive in the market.

“We believe in supporting our customers to make their business as efficient as possible and delivering a high quality service. Our client, Peters Foods, recently told us that Tesco’s visited their refurbished cook house and were extremely impressed with the facility which I’m delighted to hear” Geoff adds.
