Linerless Print & Apply - The Print & Application of Labels Without Backing Paper
The print and application of labels without backing paper is the main theme of ALTech UK’s stand (Stand E123) at this years PPMA show, in the form of its new ALcode LL Linerless print and apply system.
This innovative patented technology provides the following core benefits:
• A considerably lower cost per label - generally between 15 - 30% lower than standard silicone backed die cut labels.
• Zero silicone paper waste - which is difficult to recycle, thus reducing landfill and aiding environmental responsibility.
• More than double the reel capacity of a standard label reel - less media changes, less media storage, less machine down time.
• Label stock rationalisation - on board cutting system allows generic label rolls to be cut to different label lengths.
